Living An American Dream

A coal miner's daughter from Virginia and an immigrant from Honduras, both enlisted in the USAF and brought together by God.

Jennifer is a Daughter of the American Revolution, having six members of her family fight for our independence, to include the Civil War, WWI & WWII. She was the first lady in her family to join the USAF and served the Armed Forces honorably for over two decades and as a civil servant for the Navy & USMC.

Porfirio moved to the US at the age of 14 and after high school, he joined the USAF following in his stepfather's steps;  a WWII and Korean War Veteran. Porfirio retired after 20 years of meritorious service as a space operator; followed by a 15-year career as an executive in the aerospace industry.

We started the Dubón Family Foundation in 2018, a non-profit organization. Our non-profit supports local disabled veterans, first responders in Texas, at-risk youth, St. Thomas Catholic Church and recently became sponsors to the Tela Marine Aquarium, the first aquarium in Central America and conservation effort of the reef and mangroves of Honduras.
